Dutch education trade union, AOb, contributes
for teachers and pupils affected by inundations in Shkodra

 

Being informed about inundations in Shkodra district, Dutch Education trade union, AOb, expressed the solidarity with teachers and pupils affected by these inundations, through a significant contribution for them.

Both Albanian education trade unions, FSASH and SPASH, in collaboration with their representatives in Shkodra and Regional Educational Directorate, assisted 24 teachers from 10 different schools and 106 pupils from one of the most affected areas, in Mali i Jushit, “Prek Cali” school.

Small ceremonies were organised in both cases.

A meeting with 24 teachers was organised on the 28-th of December, also
participating chairmen of both Albanian education trade unions, FSASH and SPASH, Xhafer Dobrushi and Bajram Kruja, as well as the Director of Shkodra Regional Educational Directorate, Atrida Ferketi.


Both education trade unions’ chairmen spoke about their collaboration with AOb and the importance of this solidarity and contribution.
Educational Director and teachers appreciated and thanked AOb for this assistance, which was considered very important, first of all as a gesture of solidarity.

Another ceremony was organised in “Prek Cali” school, participating
the Headmaster, teachers, pupils, as well as the Director of Shkodra Regional Educational Directorate, both chairmen of Albanian education trade unions, local media representatives and so on.

During this ceremony coats were distributed to pupils from lower levels of the school.
Dobrushi, Kruja, Educational Director, school Headmaster, teachers and
pupils who took the floor, appreciated this contribution and thanked AOb for this assistance.

Local TV channels and National TV Channel “Klan” broadcast news about this ceremony appreciating the contribution from Dutch Education trade union, AOb and the commitment of Albanian education trade unions, FSASH and SPASH, to assist teachers and pupils from these areas.
